First Post

The first post is always awkward, so lets get that out of the way.

This blog is dedicated to following the lives of the Family Chapkins - or the blended lives and love of Becky Jenkins and Shana Chapman.  We can't legally marry (yet), so we're making up our own sort of family.  We've got love, that's all that matters :)

We're nerds, and proud of it.  Shana's an Art Nerd, and i'm a knowledge junkie. We both love finding cool stuff online, posting photos and sharing some of our lives, like our candied orange peel recipe!  We thought a blog, created and maintained together, would be a good way to share our lives with the rest of the world.

For better or worse, for richer or poorer,  as long as we both shall live . . . .  and we hope you'll come along for the ride!
